Juniper & Ginger was started by Cheryl McLeod after she found that in addition to knitting, wirework was also a lot of fun.

The signature stitch marker shape was inspired by a desire to have a simple, lightweight, won’t snag stitch marker that would also be removable & pretty.

Juniper & Ginger is based in Guelph, ON. Guelph is located on the ancestral land of the Attawandaron, Anishinaabe, and Haudenosaunee Peoples. The land was the centre of their lives and spirituality.  We are grateful for their steadfast land stewardship. We acknowledge that it is land covered by treaties: Treaty 3 with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Two Row Wampum Treaty and the Dish With One Spoon Treaty. We commit to respectful relationships and true reconciliation with our First Nation, Inuit and Métis neighbours and with the land. We pledge to educate ourselves on historical and current injustices towards indigenous people and to stand as allies.
